Sri Lanka’s Pace Bowler Nuwan Kulasekara Announced Retirement From Test Cricket :- Cricket is a  Legislative game and some brilliant individuals have taken this Gentlemen’s men to another level. But there were some Cricketers who had contributed to this game but were remain underrated.

One amongst them is Nuwan Kulasekara,  an allrounder from Sri Lanka and played international cricket for many years over the last 10-15 year in bits.

Recently, Kulasekara has announced his retirement from the longer version of the Cricket .Kulasekara made his debut in Test Match cricket back in the year 2005 against New Zealand in Napier.

Nuwan Kulasekara has taken 48 wickets from his total number of 21 tests. Last time, he was seen in white clothes against England  two year ago , when Sri  Lanka claimed their first ever Test Series victory over England in England.

Nuwan Kulasekara’s Performance in his last test inning was modest and has not been considered for Test matches over last two years.

In a recent interview on Wednesday, Kulasekara announced his decision to retire from test match cricket from immediate effects.

The 33-year-old ,Sri Lankan pacer also mentioned in his interview that he would like to retire from Test match cricket to focus on  the shorter version of the games.

Kulasekara has a better record in ODI Cricket and has taken brilliant 186 wickets of just 173 odd matches.

Nuwan Kulasekara was the no. 1 ranked ODI bowler in the year 2009. He was in sublime form through all 2009.  He had brilliant performances against every team that he played in the year in 2009.

Kulasekara’s best bowling performance was against Pakistan where he clinches 8 for 58 in 28.4 overs which also includes 4 wicket haul.

That was the only time when he played a match winning innings in test match cricket.

Now when he has quit the Test Cricket , his main focus will be on shorter format of cricket. Kulasekara is lethal with the ball in ODI and T20 cricket with his nagging lines and lengths.

Well, Nuwan’s fan will miss him in test Cricket but will definitely like to see in all the shorter version of the game of Cricket.
