The Bharati Airtel took an initiative step to launch the Airtel Public Wi-fi hotspots in Gurugram in Haryana. On Sunday the chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar launched Airtel Public Wi-Fi hotspots in Gurugram to provide wireless Internet connectivity to users.
Those people who visit the MG Road, Sadar Bazaar, Sector 29 market and Sarhaul Village can use free Wi-Fi internet on their smartphones. Users will be able to use the internet free for 30 minutes per day per device. The user will have Wi-Fi enabled device and the user needs to choose ‘MSG powered by Airtel’ in the list of networks.
Last year, The Bharati Airtel had won the auction for the Wi-Fi launch from Municipal Corporation of Gurugram. The user has to just enable Wi-Fi in device to use free internet for 30 minutes.
Through the Airtel Wi-Fi hotspot Service, the user can continue to use Wi-Fi services for 30 minutes, after 30 minutes they will be charged a nominal amount from the user. Airtel users will be charged for their data plans while non-Airtel users will be able to buy online vouchers with affordable deals. The users of Airtel network can also use the Wi-Fi with the Airtel Hangout App.
The CEO of Airtel, Dhruv Bhagat said that the company are very happy to partner with the Gurugram administration and enable citizens in the Millennium City to experience world-class Internet services.
