The Crown Prince of Dubai Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum on Monday chose a somewhat un-princely means to travel – he boards on the London Underground. His Highness Hamdan bin Mohammed shared a picture of himself to social media on Monday freely sitting on the tube next to a less excited-seeming Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Mohammed is the vice president and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Dubai. Video taken by other passengers suggested the pair were visiting near Mile End, in Tower Hamlets, on Sunday. It is not comprehended what the pair are doing in London.

One commenter, writing in Arabic, shared the image showed the ruler’s “humility”.

According to a news in Al Arabiya English, the social media accounts snap has gone “viral” in the UAE where Sheikh Mohammed is stated to be “more often seen riding around his emirate in an extravagance white Mercedes G-Class”.

Sheikh Mohammed was supposed to have had a £10 billion fortune in 2013.

Popularly known as Fazza, the crown prince knows the city well from his time studying at LSE. His father His excellency Sheikh Rashid is frequently seen at horse racing meetings in the countryside.

Many football fans responded to their appearance by urging them to buy their clubs, including Leeds United and Grimsby Town.
