Soon Samsung has been working hard to make a way to launch its new tablet S2 which will be the successor of popular Galaxy Tab S Duo. And now its look like the faddish South Korean company is done with the work and will soon be introducing its all new Tab S2. Company is planning to offer two variants of Tab S2 this time. These two variants will differ in the size as well as connectivity. Rumors are high that Samsung is thinking to launch these two ventures in the coming month of June so it seems wait is over for those who have been looking forward to own this gadget.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Specifications
There is going to be total of four variants. One with the 8” of screen size will be available in two options either only WiFi or WiFi plus LTE support and second one sporting 9.7” of screen size will also offer two choices either only WiFi or Wifi and LTE support both. Both these variants will utilize the screen aspect ratio of 4:3.
Samsung has also planned to give razor finish to this gadget. Tab with 8” display measures 237.1 × 168.8 × 5.4 while the bigger one measures 237.17mm x 169.58mm x 5.4mm in dimension which keeps it in the category of thinnest tablet offer by the company till date. Its size even out beats the iPad Air 2 which is delivered by Apple. One with the screen size 8” weighs 260grams while one with 9.7” display weighs 407 grams. Looking at their weight, we can conclude that these tabs along with being slim and sleek are quite light weighted also.
These two ventures by the Samsung just vary in the size while rest of the specifications remains almost same. Just like iPad and Nexus 9 it is going to deliver screen resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels. Both will be powered up by the Company’s own. LITTLE CPU configuration which will is proffered by Samsung’s Exynos chipset. There will be total of eight cores out of which four cores are of cortex A-57 types while remaining four cores will be of Cortex A-53 type. Maximum clock frequency of 1.9GHz is incorporated by this slate. To enhance the graphics, it will flaunt hexa-core Mali-T760MP6 GPU.
Processor will be coupled along with 3GB of internal RAM. It houses 8MP of camera at the rear. Both camera and RAM reminds us of its predecessor Galaxy Tab S which also includes similar camera and RAM.
