This year has been the Football’s season, with the major football tournaments like UEFA EURO, Copa America, and Futsal has spread the joy in the hearts of the football fans.
Although, we have seen players calling their time from this charismatic sports. Earlier we have seen Lionel Messi calling its day from International football after losing the final against the Chile in the consecutive two years.
The latest player to hung his boots from the Internation football is Bastian Schweinsteiger. The 31-year-old has been the legendary midfielder for Manchester United and Germany.
Bastian has played the football for last 12 years and so 120 cap association with Die Mannschaft. Meanwhile, the biggest achievement in his career is winning the World Cup in 2014.
After winning the world cup he told the media wing that “he will cherish the world cup winning moment in the remaining time of his career.”
Meanwhile, his last appearance for Germany was in the recently concluded semifinal match against the France. Although, his team tasted the defeat in his last match by 2-0.
Bastian Schweinsteiger tasted the International football in 2004 when he made his debut against the Hungary . He was that much impressive that his country asked him to play the European Championships of the same year in Portugal.
Then, he helped his team to reach the semifinal in the 2008 and 2010 world cups. Schweinsteiger has tasted every major Football tournament in his 12-year-old tournament and finally went on to become the world champion in 2014 world cup.
Bastian Schweinsteiger announced his retirement on Tweeter on Friday and now, the whole world will miss the class of this midfielder.
