Dishoom’, John Abraham and Varun Dhawan’s fellow cop flick that goes on the floors yesterday and nailed it with a huge opening has been banned in Pakistan. The ban has been issued a few days after statements of a blanket ban on Indian films in Pakistan over the boiling Kashmir matter.
‘Dishoom’, which also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Akshay Khanna, and Nargis Fakhri did a fab job in the movie and everybody is appreciating it. The movie is garnering good reviews over India has banned in Pakistan due to some reasons.
The ban, probably over Pakistan being presented in the bad light, has assured that the movie won’t reach its Pakistani audience, which has a major fanbase of Bollywood industry and the actors and singers from there in our country.
Varun Dhawan apparently disappointed over the prohibition and he took to twitter expressing his disagreement with the ban. He explained that the film doesn’t show Pakistan in a bad light either way. The actor had previously said.
“I would like to clear this. There is no negative reference to Pakistan or any community.” “It is a very positive representation. In fact, what we are trying to show is that for certain people money is their religion. It’s not being an Indian, Pakistani, Hindu, Muslim or Christian. In the capitalistic world that we live in, money is the biggest driving force for most crimes.”
Really upset that #Dishoom is banned in pakistan. I don’t think the film eventually shows any country in a bad light. It’s a wrong decision
