India to host #KabaddiWorldCup in October, dates yet to be declared

The India has now taken another step in the field of sports with the news coming out that this time, India will host the 2016 Kabaddi World cup. India will host the total numbers of 12 countries-Poland, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Korea, Japan, Kenya, USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and Iran for the world cup of this years.

Meanwhile, the credit for this achievement must go the officials of the Pro Kabaddi League who has decided to land the Kabaddi League way back in the year 2012.

The pro-Kabaddi League has given Kabaddi sport its identity in India, which was fading at a point of time.

And this year, India has witnessed two back to a back edition of Pro Kabaddi League and the surprisingly part about this is that the Indians have attended both the 3 and 4th season of Kabaddi League with full passion.

And, now when it is announced that Kabaddi world cup will be organised in India, it is expected that it will become the successful venture.

Although, the dates of this mega event has not been revealed yet. Meanwhile, the president of the International Kabaddi Federation, Janardan Singh Gehlot told the told the media wing that ” that the federation is really glad about the tremendous success of the Kabaddi in India and thus, we would like to spread this sports worldwide the Globe.”

He also told the reporter that ” the star sports Pro Kabaddi League has contributed a lot to the success of this sport and also, a large number of foreign players that has played in this mega event has been the another reason for the success of enhancing the popularity of Kabaddi in India.

India has won all the gold medals since 1990 when Kabaddi became a part of Asian Games. Meanwhile, 2016 Kabaddi World Cup will be broadcasted on the Star Sports networks and on the Hotstar.
