The son said that I took an vehicle for the hospital in Daryaganj. I went towards Geeta Colony flyover and took a U-turn towards Rajghat, but I found that the road was barricaded by the police. After this I went for ITO, but the ITO road also barricaded.

At last I took the route through IP Estate to Bhairon Singh Marg and then route to the hospital. When we reached the hospital, we already been an hour late. The doctors at hospital declared my father dead.

Bhupinder had failed to mention to the police that his father needed immediate medical treatment.

Police called the incident ‘sad’. The police said that they would have let the deceased pass had the family told them it was a medical emergency.
