Airtel Half Marathon is back and this time, the race is to inspire the capital on its feet. The most awaited sports event has come to the capital of India, the Dilwalo ki Delhi and the expectations from Saadi Delhi are much higher than ever. The registrations for the half marathon are open now and the main event will take place on 21st Oct, 2018. Talking about the prize money of the most popular race which includes the Great Delhi Run (6 km), the Senior Citizen’s Run (4 km), and the Champions with Disability (4 km), in addition to the feature race, will be USD 2,70,000 which is approximate ₹ 1.81 crore.

The entry fees for the ADHM 2016 is ₹ 1700 which will be Rs.600 fro Great Delhi Run , Rs 300 for Senior Citizen’s run and Rs. 250 fro Champions with Disability.

More than 35000 participants are expected to come from the different corner of the world and the race would witness the beautiful scenic glimpse of the historic icons of the capital which cover Parliament House, Rajpath, India Gate, Delhi Golf Club, Lodhi Road, Sansad Marg among others.

ADHM 2018 with some new twists

ORSL: ORSL extends it’s helping hands with the vision of expected needs of the participants for enhancing the running experience at the ninth edition of ADHM, ORSL is restoring electrolytes & energy to the enthralling and energetic athletes by associating with the upcoming event as a Restoration Partner.

PUMA Race Day Tee: As an additional zest for all the half marathon competitors, PUMA has launched the exclusive PUMA Race Day Tee. This will be given to the Half Marathon participants as the manifestation of the motivation.

Prize Money: ADHM 2018 grants an overall prize money of USD 2,70,000.

An added motivation for best contestants hitting the course record is INR 1,50,000 for Indian contestants and overall course record prize of USD 8,000 for males and females. Another impressive point of the event is an initiation of a bonus of USD 9,000 for the male and female bashing the fastest half marathon time of the year 2016 in the event.

Compulsory timed race: The event will only allow applications from the applicants who have added a valid timing record of their run from the preceding 24 months. Candidates who do not fall under the timed runner patterns can avail of the running areas that have been assigned to the NGOs enrolled with the event’s Philanthropy Partner which will be available from 30th August – 07th October on a first come first serve basis.

To promote female applications there are bounded a number of running spots in the half marathon possessed particularly for non-timed female candidates.
