Peshawar: 4 militants have been killed. They attack on minorities at a Christian Colony in Peshawar, Pakistan. One civilian was also killed in the attack. Four heavily-armed militants attacked the Christian colony, opening indiscriminate fire that left one person dead and several others injured. The security forces of Pakistan gunned down the terrorists in this northwestern city of Pakistan.
Pakistani Taliban-linked Jamaat-ur-Ahrar claimed the responsibility for the attack on minorities.
In a tweet Army spokesman Lt. General Asim Bajwa said that the authorities responded to the attack promptly. The firing began at 6 am in the morning, with the gunmen wearing suicide vests.
In August 2016, around 4 Hindus were killed in individual strikes in what were called religiously motivated attacks. Hindus, Ahmadiyya and Christians Community are the minorities in Pakistan that are often the targets of religiously motivated attacks in the country.

Twin blasts rocked the Christ Church and the Roman Catholic Church during Sunday service at Youhanabad town of Lahore in the month of March, 2015. Around 5 people were killed and 70 were wounded in this attack. They could not blow the bomb up inside the church because they were stopped outside of the church by the guards.
All Saints Church in Peshawar faced a twin suicide bomb attack in September 2013. In this suicide bomb attack 127 people were killed and over 250 injured. Out of the two suicide bombers, police stopped one militant outside the church and detonated there. The other militant managed to get inside the church and detonated the bomb inside the church.
In an attack on the Ahmadiyya Community in 2010, 94 people were killed and more than 120 were injured in the attacks against two mosques of the minority community. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, and their Punjab wing took the responsibility of this attack.
