Ganesh Chaturthi 2021: Watch Lalbaugcha Raja Mukh darshan Video

Ganesha the name that we all chant while starting any of the new beginnings as Lord Ganesha who also known as Vighnaharta as to cut down all the sorrows and evil and fill all the moments of our life with happiness and joy. Today on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi we will proceed with the first sight of Lord Ganesha as Lalbaughcha Raja.

In Mumbai, the city of Maharashtrians who believe in Lord Ganesha and devotes everything to him. The propitious festival falls during the month of Bhadra i.e. mid-August or mid-September. The city has so many temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha and alike every year, this year also welcomed most iconic idol of ‘Lalbaugcha Raja’, which was revealed on 1 September.  The festival is celebrated by all the Hindus across the world but the Western and Southern parts of India celebrate it like no one.

Lalbaugcha Raja is Mumbai’s one of the most famous Ganpati dedicated temple and numerous devotees visit the mandapam every year to get a sight of the idol. The Lord’s idol is kept for 11 days before being up to the eyes on the last day of Anant Chaturdashi. During these 11 days every morning and dusk, ‘aartis’ are performed bhajans are chanted and Modaks as Prasad are offered to Lord Ganesha. At the end of the celebration, the idols are immersed in the water bodies with all the joy and pageantry. The devotees sing bhajans and prayers in the name of Ganesha as the idols are carried to the water bodies and immersed with the wishes to welcome him next year again with more happiness.
