Mumbai: On Friday, Kapil Sharma tweeted that he had bee asked for a bribe of Rs. 5 lakhs by the BMC for building his office space. But after tweeting on Twitter, it seems that Kapil Sharma put himself in a bad situation as everyone asked Sharma to give evidence of allegations.
On Friday evening, MNS Chief Secretary – Shalini Thackrey accused of Kapil Sharma for destroying mangroves and adding illegal floor to his Andheri bunglow. She added that Kapil Sharma is a liar. A local activist came out with the charges that Sharma harmed the mangroves.
Assistant Municipal Commissioner – Parag Masurkar said that BMC issued a 24-hour notice on 16th July 2016 to Kapil Sharm to pull down the unauthorized horizontal extension to the existing ground-plus-one story row house at SV Patel Nagar in Andheri and also for construction of a second which is illegal floor.
He further said that On 4th August, the ward officers demolished the extension after receiving no reply from him.
All politicians jumped into the controversy because the BMC elections are months away. So everyone wants to show the clear image of the party.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala termed the BMC as Bhrastachar Municipal Corporation. Congress and NCP took the advantage of this controversy and used the chanced to attack on the BJP and Shiv Sena.
In Mumbai, the BJP and the Shiv Sena control the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The BMC is the India’s biggest and richest municipal body.
Chief of MNS film Cell – Ameya Khopkar threatened Sharma to ban him from shooting in the Mumbai.
