An India based smartphone company – Intex has launched a new affordable 3G smartphone today under its ‘Aqua’ series in India – the Aqua Eco 3G with a price tag of Rs 2,400. The smartphone is now listed on the official website of the company with price details and full specifications. It is the upgraded version of Aqua Eco 4G handset with low features. The handset will be available in three different colour options – Blue, White and Black colours.

Specifications: The New Intex Aqua Eco 3G smartphone features a 4-inch IPS FWVGA 480×800 pixels resolution display with a 235 ppi pixel density and 2 Finger Touch capacity. The handset is powered by a 1.0 GHz Dual-core MediaTek MTK6572 processor which is paired with 1 GB of DDR 3 RAM. The handset supports Dual-SIM (GSM + WCDMA) with 3G connectivity and runs on older version of Android Kitkat 4.4 OS out-of-the-box. The handset is equipped with 8 GB of internal storage, that can be further expandable up to 32 GB via micro SD card.
The New 3G smartphone supports a 0.3 MP VGA Primary Auto focus camera with a Dual LED flashlight that can record Normal videos at 30 fps. The smartphone also supports a 0.3 MP VGA Secondary front camera with LED Flashlight on board for video calling and better selfies. The device is packed with a 1400 mAh Li-ion battery pack, which claims to deliver up to 220 hours standby time and up to 5 hours of talk time on 3G network.
Connectivity: New Intex Aqua Eco 3G smartphone offers Dual SIM, 2G/3G, Wifi Hotspot, FM Radio, Audio Jack 3.5 mm, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, WiFi (802.11b/g/n), and Micro USB Port. The device also comes with some of the pre-loaded apps like Opera Mini, Mobikwik, Saavn Clean Master, Freecharge, and Online Software Update. The handset also features Volte enabled, Emergency rescue, and Gesture control. It measures 124×63.3×11.2 mm and weighs 118 gm with Battery.
