India Successfully Launched Chandrayaan 1 To The Moon Eight Years Ago Today

The India has been on the verge of becoming the developed country from developing a country. The development has been made in the field of science and engineering in last few years. Meanwhile, the 23rd October holds a prominent day in the history of Indian calendar as eight years ago on the same date the Chandrayanan 1 was launched.

Although, it was also the fact that the scientists lost the contact with the Chandrayan 1 just after the 312 days of its launched date. But, it is believed that it did the 95 percent of its goals that it was supposed to achieve.

According to the reports, the Chandrayan 1 was in 2008 but lost the contact on 29 August 2009. The Chandrayan 1 before fading away collected the information like e high-resolution remote sensing of the moon in visible and conducted the experiment like near Infrared (NIR), low-energy X-rays and high-energy X-ray regions.

Meanwhile, the Chandrayan 2 is almost ready to take off and it will be launched in 2018. It will be loaded with the mission of orbiter, a lander and a rover that are all being developed in India.

Well, the 2.1 billion Indian population will be wait for the 2018 when the Chandrayaan 2 will be launched.
