#Kupwara: Militant Beheaded Soldier Under The Fire Cover of Pakistani Army on Friday

The trend is trending on the social site Twitter in response of that on Friday night, a soldier was beheaded beheaded by a militant near the LoC in Machil area, Kupwara while Indian troops were engaged in cross-border firing with Pakistan army.

An Army spokesperson said that a militant was also killed in the exchange of fire. The official statement initially was: In a despicable act, the terrorist mutilated the body of the Indian Army soldier before fleeing into PoK under the fire cover of the Pakistani Army.

An Army spokesperson said that Pakistan Army’s firing at army outposts provided cover for the militant. This barbarism is a true reflection that pervades official and non-official organisations across the border.

He further said that this act will invite an appropriate response.

Border Security Force claims 15 Pak Rangers killed

On Friday, the BSF claimed that they killed 15 Pakistani rangers this past week as continual cross-border shelling along the International Border and the LoC has ratcheted up tensions between India and Pakistan.

Additional Director General of BSF – Arun Kumar told reporters that 15 Pakistani rangers have been killed in retaliatory firing and shelling by BSF. We have also destroyed their outposts and damaged a few.
