On Wednesday, one police man was killed in a furious encounter between security forces and terrorists in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir. A furious gunfight started between the security forces and the terrorists at Marwal forest area of Zaloora in Sopore, J&K.
Currently, the gunfight is currently underway. It is speculated that there are 3 or 4 terrorists in the forest.
This is the second encounter between the security forces and terrorists in this month. Earlier, on 7th November 2016, a terrorist was killed and an Army personnel had sustained injuries after a massive gunfight broke out in Shopian.
At the border, Pakistan violates the ceasefire consistently for a month.
Recently, An Army jawan was killed in a ceasefire violation in Poonch district, J&K on 6th November. The firing from Pakistan came hours after an Indian soldier was killed and a civilian was injured at the RS Pura Sector.
