3 killed Terrorists wanted to carry out of bomb blast at Running Trains through tunnels

Recently in the terrorists attack on Nagrota camp in Samba Sector of Jammu in which 7 army personnel killed and 3 terrorists killed. The terrorists were heavily armed and infiltrated into the Jammu and Kashmir in order to carry out a chain of terrorist attacks. They came to blow up running trains with chained IEDs and five bottles of liquid explosive trinitroglycerin.

At a press conference in Jammu, the ADG BSF and special DG Western Command Arun Kumar said that terrorists had infiltrated to carry out big incidents. Their design was to blow up rail tracks and trains here. We have recovered chained IEDs and liquid explosives from them.

ADG of BSF also said that 3 killed terrorists would also have carried out a chain of huge impact terror activities including the blowing up of running trains and also causing a fire in trains because chain IEDs, as well as liquid explosives. He further said that if our jawans had not successfully eliminated these heavily armed terrorists with huge stores of explosive material, then they could have caused massive damage in Jammu.

IG BSF Jammu Frontier – D K Upadhyaya said that it was only because of the security cover of BSF that this calamity was averted. Chain IEDs are mainly used to blow up rail tracks and hit running trains. They were carrying with them five bottles that contained trinitroglycerin. It is used to trigger fire and cause explosion.

BSF DG – K K Sharma said that we detected a small tunnel of size of 2×2 meters. We had deployed depth makes across the fence and hence we could detect and neutralize the three militants. The tunnel was found in a field where farming is done and has soft soil.
