The demonetisation of in India has created chaos within in the citizens as everyone is looking to rush to bank and ATMs. Keeping in mind all these factors the Indian government has taken an initiative to tackle by launching Digital payments and cashless transactions.The government has introduced TV Channel which is named as DigiShala to promote digital payment in India. To update the people about digital payment system, the Indian government has introduced a helpline number 14444.
it is believed that the government has taken this step to reduce the long queue outside the banks and ATMs R Chandrashekar, IT body NASSCOM President revealed that the whole operation would be started in next week and the same helpline number will be available for the whole country.
The government has asked the help of Nasscom. The government has planned to open the numbers of the call center in vivid parts of India.
Apart from this, they have also launched the DigiShala which will be available on Doordarshan’s DTH platform. Well, it looks like the government has their eye on all the problems going in the country.
