Kejriwal demands that PM must quit and seeks a probe into the allegations by SC

On Wednesday, the Chief Minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party Supremo – Arvind Kejriwal demanded that PM Modi step down till his name is cleared of alleged charges of bribe and also sought a probe into the allegations by a Supreme Court monitored committee.

After an hour later when Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi alleged that Modi at time of his tenure as CM of Gujarat had taken money from the Sahara and Birla Groups, Kejriwal told a press conference here.

Kejriwal had also levelled  the same charges against Modi in the month of November in the Delhi Assembly. Kejriwal said that the Congress Party was only following the allegations of Aam Aadmi Party in this regard. Kejriwal also said that demonetisation is a scam.

Kejriwal also gave an example and said that BJP patriarch LK Advani had set the right example by quitting when his name had surfaced in the Hawala scam.

Moreover, Kejriwal said that he will send the Income Tax appraisal reports to Prashant Bhushan who has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. Displaying few voluminous reports, kejriwal said that these documents have not yet been submitted in the Court.

Kejriwal also wanted to know the reason behind Rahul’s delay in making the allegations. Kejriwal said that was he trying to strike a bargain? In fact, all the leaders who figure in the papers should be probed.
