2017 Indian Union and Rail Budget: Here are top 5 things to expect

As you all know that today our first budget of this year is going to be announced and everybody has eye on it. This time few changes are made by the government of Indian and that’s why I think this budget is being more interesting for the people and media. Also, few big announcements are made by this government and now it’s time to work on those announcements.

Well, first time Indian rail budget and normal budget is coming together and that’s a new trend. Also, the budget is scheduled to February 01 from today. Our finance minister Arun Jaitley announced the budget today and he made some bug announcements during the budget session. Also, the all media groups are covering this budget since early morning.

Arun Jaitley’s new budget is showing more attention towards the Infrastructure development such as new lines, doubling, station redevelopment and safety up gradation. Jaitley said “People of India voted us with full hope and pride. They hoped that we are going to stop corruption and crimes. Previous 2 years went well for our government and we proved that our governess is going to be better and better by time.”

This is the fourth budget by the Narendra Modi government. People have big hopes and hype for this budget. As you all know that after demonization our country is going through bug changes and these changes are surely going to affect the whole 2017-18 Budget.  Even the Finance minster Jaitley said “the demonetization move by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not have a lasting impact on the economy.”

Announcements on 2017-18 Budget-

Jaitley said “that allocation for welfare of women and children under various ministries will be increased to Rs 1,84,632 cr.”

Also he said “Defence expenditure excluding pension at Rs 2.74 lakh crore and the total expenditure of budget 2017-18 has been placed at Rs 21.47 lakh crore.”

Jaitley said “Forex reserves to offer a cover for 12 months of imports, announces. Also he announced that Head Post Offices will now be used as the front office for passport services.”

He said “Chandigarh and eight districts of Haryana have been declared Kerosene free and The Foreign Investment Promotion Board has been abolished, Jaitley announced, adding that further liberalisation in the FDI policy would be taken in the next few days.”

Also he made some more announcements like new metro rail policy will be coming soon which is going to make more opportunities for the youth. Also, he made some big announcements about BHIM and FDI too.
