Terrorists loot more than Rs 2 lakh from J&K Bank in Shopian District

On Thursday, the terrorists looted more than Rs 2 lakh from the Jammu and Kashmir Bank in Shopian district, Jammu and Kashmir. This is the second robbery after the demonetization.

Earlier, the robbery incident had taken place on 8th December 2016, when an unidentified man had targeted the same bank’s branch in Pulwama, looting Rs 13.38 lakh.

Several cases of bank loot in the state have come to the fore post the 8th November demonetisation drive.

After the demonetization, the militants is not getting money from their boss because they have not any fake currency. So the militants targeted the bank for the money and continued their attack in Kashmir.
