Google owned YouTube Plans to Remove 30-Second Unskippable Ads in 2018

Today, world tech giant – Google made a landmark announcement. Google announced about its YouTube viewers the best viewing experience by getting rid of the 30 seconds ads showing up on YouTube that is not skippable ads.

The new announcement by the Google will take effect from next year onwards. The Google-owned YouTube is looking to start ads in various other formats.

 

In its statement, Google said about the stoppage of the unskippable 30 seconds adds. Google told that we have decided to stop supporting 30-second unskippable ads from the year 2018 and focus instead on formats that work well for both users and advertisers. One must notice that the company will not remove the entire 30 seconds YouTube ads format that cannot be skipped.

There are also other ads which are lesser than 30 seconds. This also includes 20 seconds’ ads which are also unskippable. Users can also expect that there would also be even shorter ads. This was introduced in the month of April 2016 as Google said that they are trying to advance into the lengthier ads format in the future.

It is to be said that Google understands the YouTube Video viewers’ point of view and the frustrating that the viewers go through. This decision makes the users feel like they are pushed to watch the ads without being able to skip such lengthy ads.

Now that there are other instant messaging services gaining popularity YouTube is taking all measures to provide the best video viewing experience.
