Delhi Guy Trashed For Speaking English: 3 People Arrested

A spin-chill incident took place a few hours back in the capital city New Delhi which makes headlines and the news goes viral at internet world. Reportedly, a 22-year-old guy was thrashed allegedly by 5 people for speaking with his friend in fluent English. The incident took place while dropping him off at a five-star hotel in Lutyens’ Delhi, police stated today.

 

The unpleasant incident was reported in the early hours on Saturday, as per the report stated. As per the fresh news, 3 persons have been arrested in this connection, they said. As per the Delhi police, the resident of Noida, Varun Gulati, had come to the five-star hotel in Connaught Place to drop off his friend Aman in his friend Daksh’s car.

While Mr. Gulati was walking back to the hotel post seeing off Daksh, a grouping of 5 men, who were intoxicated, rounded him up. They were seen saying and asking him why he was speaking in English, the alleged men seen saying so.

Both the sides of the guys got into an argument which left the consequences of the assault. Yes, the alleged guys physically attacked Mr. Varun Gulati, police stated. The attacker flees the spot in a motor vehicle but the victim managed to note down the number of the vehicle, they further added.

On the basis of the number plate, the 3 alleged people have been identified and arrested, police said, adding a hunt is only to trace the rest number of the people.

    It is not clear what made them thrash him for speaking fluent English.Is it their inferiority complex or the feeling they have been exposed of their ianbiility to speak in English in the presence of a girl.Hope one sided love did not trigger the bad reaction.
