NIT, Hamirpur situated in Himachal pradesh (North of India). There are only 30 NIT present in India and NIT hamirpur is one of them. It was formed in 1986 as a engineering college  and in 26 june 2002 it was reorganized as a National Institute of Technology (NIT). NIT is the leading Engineering college of india. if you want to join NIT then you have to clear the JEE mains examination in India.

NIT provide B.TECH degree to the student as undergraduate course and provide  M.TECH degree as post-graduate degree to the students.

The post-graduate programme introduced in 2005,2006 & 2009:

1.M-TECH – 2005

2.M-ARCH – 2006

3.M.B.A – 2009

To getting admission in master programme,candidate must have to pass GATE exam(Graduate aptitude test of engineering)

ELIGIBILITY : The candidate must have a Master Degree in Engineering/Technology with minimum 60% marks(55% for SC/ST)

AGE : The age of candidate should not be more than 50 yr.
