Bhartiya Janta Party Leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have reached Kolkata for the 2021 Assembly elections. He came for a two-day visit to check out the party’s organizational matters, and also for meeting with the state’s leader, poll preparations, and discuss the party’s strategy for the upcoming Assembly elections. Shah wanted to visit Kolkata during the Durga Puja occasion but the scheduled was cancelled due because he was found Corona positive.

Birsa Munda was born on the 15th of November 1875 at Ukihatu, Bengal Presidency, Ranchi District, Bihar. He was an Indian freedom fighter, a folk hero, and as well as a religious leader who belongs to a tribe named “Munda”. He led a tribal religious movement that was happened in the Bengal Presidency in the 19th century which is now known as Jharkhand. He was introduced as a freedom fighter during the British Rule. The revolt has happened in the Tamar, Sarwada, Bandgaon, and Khunti. He is the only leader who was honored in the front of Parliament Museum. He also created a slogan against British Raj -” Abua raj seter jana, maharani raj tundu jana”. His birth anniversary is celebrated every year on the 15th of November and still celebrated as far as Kodagu district and Mysore in Karnataka. Some organizations have taken his name as Birsa Munda Airport Ranchi, Birsa Munda Vanvasi Chattravas Kanpur, Birsa Institute of Technology Sindri, and more. Tamil director Gopi Nainar is set to direct a movie that is based on Birsa Munda’s life.
