Mumbai: Dutch footballer star Arjen Robben and India cricketer Ajinkya Rahane got into the festive mood and exchanged a couple of Diwali gifts between themselves.
Bayern Munich had sent Ajinkya Rahane a club jersey, with the name of Ajinkya printed on the back. Cricketer Rahane posted a video on his social media account and saying: Happy Diwali to all my fans. I would like to thank Bayern Munich for this lovely gift, and I am sending you a surprise very soon.
Bayern soon posted the surprise on their social media page. Dutch winger Arjen Robben holding an India jersey. The club thanked Rahane for this gift.
Ajinkya Rhane had his own name printed on the back of the India jersey. Perhaps he was unsure which Bayern player to address it to.
On their social media account, Bayers Munich wrote that Arjen Robben certainly enjoyed receiving his Diwali gift from Indian Cricketer Ajinkya Rahane! We hope all our Indian fans had a very happy Diwali.
Earlier this year, India Test captain Virat Kohli had exhibited the football fan inside him, by showing his support for the German national team. In return, Real Madrid and Germany star midfielder Toni Kroos sent Virat Kohli a signed jersey.
