Indian Multinational Automotive Manufacturer Company, Ashok Leyland has launched the first 4-axle DTLA 8×2 and a 14-wheeler AVTR 4120 truck in India. It has a capacity of holding a 40.5 ton Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). The company introduces an additional 5-ton load compared to an 8×2 truck with better TCO. The new truck model will have a capacity to operate at a 40.5 ton with the lifting axle down while a 28-ton with the lifting axle of up during the partial load, return, and light loading.
the Ashok Leyland’s AVTR 4120 has come with a 12.5-tonne dual-tyre-lift-axle (DTLA) with a technology of parallelogram that promises you a better tyre life. While AVTR 4120 has come with two fabulous and better options, 200bhp with 700Nm variant and 250bhp with 900Nm model. The new iGen6 technology models give you upgraded power, efficiency, and performance. The new 14-trye model truck has the latest AVTR modular truck platform that offers their customer the proper flexibility of multiple cab options including U Cabin, N Cabin, and M Cabin.
Last year, the company launched the AVTR model which is a modular truck to give hard competition to the variant loading road models including some important requirements in the view of customer demands. Anuj Kathuria, COO of Ashok Leyland said,” Now, with this contemporary product, we will provide the flexibility to the customers. In the too many applications, the load availability in the trucks is dynamic due to many factors like return load, seasonality, customer order quantity and type of material”.
The company offers a suspended cap with the damper in N Cabin including a suspended driver seat, a front with an anti-roll bar, a front fascia with full metal, spaces for ample storage, AC & HVAC options, and a music system as well. Also, it will come with digital solutions including a 24×7 customer assistance solution center and service mandi network that supports remote diagnostics, and advanced telematics. Along with this, the company offers more options for their customers as maintenance-free for unitized wheel bearings and rear suspension that ended with slippers.
The Managing Director of Ashok Leyland, Vipin Sondhi said,” the company attempt has the motive to address the demand of the customers and concept to provide better advantages for them and the AVTR 4120 is just one step goes forward this offer to the flexible customers”.
This time, the company provides every flexible and important feature in their AVTR 4120 model. Also, many offers have come with this truck. Many more features and specification is not released yet related to the model but soon, it will reveal out.
