Prediction :
Sydney Thunder : 46%
Melbourne Stars : 54%
“They’re chock-full of talent. They’ve got [Shane] Watson, who’s just coming into a rich vein of form, and they’ve got [Jacques] Kallis – he’s very classy – and they sort of bat around the old boy [Michael Hussey] here,” said David Hussey, who is wary of Thunder’s power-packed batting order.
“He [Jacques Kallis] was very keen to play the semi-final but we took the call on giving him a few extra days in the hope that we got through to the final. I’m pretty confident he’ll be out there,” said Michael Hussey, who expects the legendary all-rounder to feature in the championship clash.
The Melbourne Stars should go into the match as favourites, but the Sydney Thunder have beaten them once already this season. Who’s to say they won’t do it again?
