BJP Chief Keshav Prasad Maurya discharged from RML hospital

Chief of the UP’s BJP, Keshav Prasad Maurya took to Twitter saying he has been discharged and is back home.

“This is to inform all my well wishers that I have been discharged from hospital and am back home. I am absolutely fine, thanks to your blessings. Do not worry about me,” he said.

A senior doctor of the hospital said- “The 48-year-old leader was admitted at 3:40 pm. He was suffering from a cough, cold and mild fever since last week and overwork due to his political commitments.”

“When admitting, his blood pressure was higher. But now, he is well and better. He is kept under observation for future evaluation,” Dr AK Gadpayle said.

Maurya, who is himself seen as one of the probable, told reporters that how can he choose himself when asked if he is a contender for the post.

Shah while leaving- “I have left the responsibility to Keshav to choose the CM”.

Reporters rushed to Maurya, who was also there. Maurya, who is BJP’s OBC face in UP, is out of the reckoning.

Apart, Union ministers Rajnath Singh and Manoj Sinha are strong contenders in UP.
Trivendra Singh Rawat, Prakash Pant as well as Satpal Maharaj are front-runners in Uttarakhand.
