Rumours are going round that Blackberry is working on bringing on board its last QWERTY Keyboard smartphone called as Blackberry DTEK70 aka Mercury at CES 2017. Till now there have been many leaks like it is going to board fingerprint scanner or it will be launched in the month of December, but the recent rumours bring in spot the specs, design etc of the device.
Recently tipster Roland Quandit has shared a screenshot on the internet which expect Mercury to operate on latest Android 7.0 Nougat. It also hints that Mercury will sport a display screen offering 1080X1620p screen resolution along with 420ppi pixel density.
Anzhuo reprised the past rumours which were going around about Blackberry Mercury like it is going to have high-pass Xiaolong 821 processor, it is going to use large battery capacity promising usage time up to 2 days, 4.5” display size, hyperbolic screen etc.Mercury differentiates itself from its kin Blackberry Perv in a way that its keyboard doesn’t slide in or out. Moreover fingerprint scanner will be embedded below the space bar.
Another Tipster asserts that it is going to be sold by Verizon in the US and it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. He also claims that Blackberry will be sporting long lasting battery capacity. Its arrival has recently been confirmed by the Indonesian certification site.
Apart from that if we talk about the other features, then it is going to have 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage on the board, whopping 18MP camera at the back while 8MP shooter will be present on the front for clicking selfies.
After this small treat, Blackberry will stop producing, stocking and distributing its own phones. The company is also planning to give its brand license to the outside companies so that they can manufacture and sell the smartphones by themselves.
Whatever the case is, Blackberry is surely expected to be launched at CES. Looks like it is going to be a final treat for the Blackberry’s fan by the Company. Summing up the rumored specs we have:
