The Rajasthan Government therefore introduced the formation of an education board for Class 8th students.The Board Exams will be conducted in a total of six subjects viz., English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Science, Science and a Third Language (Punjabi/Sanskrit). The Government of Rajasthan came out with the decision to introduce board exams for Class 8th students in government schools after the implementation of the RTE. Following the implementation of the Right to Education, no exams were being held for students up to Class 8th.
