The Carandbike awards 2021 has announced and the Viewers’ Choice Motorcycle and Car of the Year are declared where the Hero Xtreme 160R wins the motorcycle of the year while the new Honda City Sedan has won the 2021 CNB Viewers’ Choice Car of the Year award. The Hero Motorcycle was launched last year and become the viewer’s favourite bike just with the specifications and features of the bike and gives a tough competition to other brands such as Honda H’Ness CB 350, KTM 390 Adventure, and the Honda Hornet 2.0 while the Honda Car grabs the awards after beating the car such as Hyundai i20, Mahindra Thar, Nissan Magnite and MG Hector Plus. Both company’s CEO attends the event and grab the trophy on their side and along with trophy they give a wonderful speech and promise the consumers that they will come with more prominent and amazing cars which surely loved by the purchasers.
Talking about the specifications, features and performance of both the winner models than the first on the list is Hero Xtreme 160R which comes with BS6-compliant with 160 CC single-cylinder with support air-cooled engine and with this it carries the technology of Hero’s XSens and fuel injection. The bike delivers the maximum power of 15 bhp with 14 Nm peak torque at 6,500 RPM and with this, it supports a 5-speed gearbox and reached 0-60 kmph in just 4.7 seconds with a light weight of just 138.8 kg. The bike comes with two options such as front disc and dual disc.
The former bike model comes with an Rs. 1.04 lakh which is for the Ex-showroom in Delhi while the latter model supports the prize of Rs. 1.07 lakh which is for Ex-showroom in Delhi. Recently the company launched their brand new bike with the name of Xtreme 160R 100 million edition in the market of India with the price tag of Rs. 1.08 lakh for ex-showroom in Delhi. The second on the list is Honda City Sedan which comes with BS6 obedient petrol and diesel engine variants. The former variant supports a 1.5-litre i-VTEC DOHC engine which makes the maximum power of 118 bhp with a peak torque of 145 Nm.
On the other hand, the oil burner variant supports a 1.5-litre i-DTEC unit which gives the rider a 99 bhp maximum power and 200 Nm peak torque with the transmission of a 6-speed manual gearbox while the petrol version also supports CVT automatic transmission. The company comes in three trim variants such as V, VX, and ZX. The car carries the price tag of Rs 11 lakh to ₹ 14.65 lakh which is for the petrol version and ₹ 12.45 lakh to ₹ 14.85 lakh is fixed for the diesel version and all the price is for the ex-showroom in Delhi.
