The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board exam 2020 has officially commenced for both class 10th and class 12th today on February 15, 2020. The class 10th board exams will conclude on March 20 while class 12th board exams will conclude on March 30, 2020. Around 18 lakh students will take the class 10th board exams while the class 12th board exam will be taken by 12 lakh candidates.
CBSE Board exam 2020 Begin
CBSE will conduct the examination on one session only i.e. 10:00 to 1:30. The CBSE class 10th board exams will be conducted on 5376 centres while the CBSE 12th board exams will be held on 4983 centers.
CBSE has also started its board exam counselling session. This will be the 23rd consecutive year when the board is providing free counselling to students who are appearing for their board exams. With students, CBSE is also giving its teachers suggestions to help students cope with stress.
Instructions for the students:
- Candidates have to bring their admit cards along with them without which no student will be allowed to enter.
- Candidates must reach the examination centre on or before 9.45 AM on the days of exams and be seated in the examination hall on or before 10 AM. No student will be permitted after 10 AM.
- Students are allowed to carry their admit cards, pencil pouch, geometry box, and cardboard. However, they should keep in mind that every product should be a transparent one.
- Students are requested to wear their school uniforms. As for private students, they can wear an appropriate uniform. Students are required to not wear any headgear (except the religious). These students are also not to wear any digital watch, jewelry, etc.
- In case of any concerns, a teacher from your school will be present at all times at the board examination center.
- Students will be given their answer sheets sharp at 10 and will be given time to fill the OMR sheet. Please don’t use a whitener on the OMR sheet.
- The question paper will be distributed to the students at 10:15 and they will be given a time frame of 15 minutes which will be strictly reading time. Utilize it fully.
