The CBSE is going to declared the answer key for the CTET 2016 exam on its official website. As the board declared the answer keys, candidates can check for the answer key on the official website of the board and estimate their scores.

Central Board of Secondary Education has conducted CTET 2016 exam for PAPER I & II on 18th September 2016 in two shift – Morning shift & Evening Shift at various centers across India. Recently CBSE has announced the notification for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Sept 2016) and large no of eligible candidates applied for the Teacher Eligibility Test before last date

CBSE is likely to publish the answer keys on its official website within two weeks before the 6th of October 2016.

As soon as the board declares the answer key of CTET 2016 September, the candidates can download the answer keys to check or estimates the performance in the paper. The CTET Paper is conducted twice in every year. The test was organised to determine candidates eligibility for TGT – Paper 2 and PRT – Paper 1.

CTET 2016 Answer Key for Paper 1 and Paper 2

  • There are 4 different sets of CTET 2016 question papers. Check the answer key for respective set only to know the actual answers.
  • CTET 2016 answer key of Paper 1 contains answers of 150 MCQs of Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.
  • CTET 2016 answer key of Paper 2 contains answers of MCQs of Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Science, Social Studies / Social Science.

Exam pattern of CTET Paper 1 as follows:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 questions, total 30 marks.
  • Language I – 30 questions, total 30 marks.
  • Language II – 30 questions, total 30 marks.
  • Mathematics – 30 questions, total 30 marks.
  • Environmental Studies – 30 questions, total 30 marks.
  • Total – 150 questions, total 150 marks.

Exam pattern of CTET Paper 2 as follows:

  • Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory) – 30 questions of 30 marks.
  • Language I (compulsory) – 30 questions of 30 marks.
  • Language II (compulsory) – 30 questions of 30 marks.
  • For Mathematics and Science teacher: Mathematics and Science – 60 questions of 60 marks.
  • For Social Studies/Social Science teacher: Social Science – 60 questions of 60 marks.
  • For any other teacher – either (Mathematics and Science) or (Social Science) – 60 questions of 60 marks.
  • Total – 150 questions, total 150 marks.

Steps to Check the Answer Keys of CBSE CTET 2016:

  • visit the official website of the board.
  • Click on the answer key ‘CTET 2016’.
  • The answer keys will be displayed on the screen.
  • Check your score and estimate your performance in the paper.
