Centre Government recalls 3 diplomats from Pakistan as their life is in danger

After the identities of diplomats were made public and Pakistan charged them with spying, the Central government on Tuesday recalled its 3 diplomats stationed at its High Commission in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Foreign Office Spokesman of Pakistan – Nafees Zakaria named the diplomats, including First Secretary (Commercial) Anurag Singh, last week. Zakaria had alleged that under the garb of diplomatic assignments, Indian diplomats and staffers were involved in coordinating terrorist and subversive activities in Pakistan.

As per the officials that apart from Anurag Singh, Madhavan Nanda Kumar and Vijay Kumar Verma left Pakistan by air on Tuesday.

The officials said that the decision was taken because their security had been completely compromised by Pakistan with their names and photographs published and broadcast in the media there.

India also arrested some of the officials of the Pakistan high commission here in charge of spying. After their names were made public in India, Pakistan recalled its six High Commission officials.
