About CGBSE: Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education(CGBSE) is a board of school education in state of Chhattisgarh, India. The CGBSE is state agency of Government of Chhattisgarh in India. It is responsible for promotion and development of secondary education in Chhattisgarh.

After the formation of Chhattisgarh as a state on 1 November 2000, Chhattisgarh government School Education Department was upgraded to Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education on 20 September 2001 under Legislative Notification.

The Board successfully conducted the exam of 12th examination for science, arts and commerce  in the month of March 2019 between 23rd February to 20th March 2019.
