The world second largest country China is planning to establish a lunar research station so that their astronauts can remain on land and remain on the moon for the longest period of time. When it comes to technology china always set new branch marks. In recent years, China has launched several scientific mission including the Robotic Base that was sent to inspect the South pole region of the moon. The south pole region of the moon is an important thing for the scientist because according to them it will allow understanding deeper the concept regarding the presence of water and other minerals on the surface of the earth.
According to China’s architectures of the Lunar Project, the purpose to set up the Lunar research station is that China wants its astronauts to stick on the moon for a longer period so that they will get sufficient time to conduct research and do other scientific analysis on the southern pole of the moon. As stated by the Chief Designer of China’s Lunar Exploration Project, Wu Wiren, if they would be able to execute and implement the lunar research station conveniently, they will be able to do arrive their spacecraft on the moon’s surface including robotic and crewed mission both.
China has also signed an agreement with the Russia Space agency for developing and setting up an International Lunar Station, which will benefit both countries in landing the spacecraft on the moon’s surface. They have not revealed the timeline yet though. Chief Designer Wu also stated that with this lunar station their astronauts will be able to stick on the moon’s surface for a longer period of time as compared to the astronauts of America who can only stick for a total of ten hours. China has earlier sent a robotic spacecraft recently and also a number of other lunar mission for the past years.
But we all know that when it comes to the world’s powerful Country America, it is a little tough to compete with them, especially for China. When it comes to experience, technological advancement and competency, America’s space agency NASA, will also be considered number one. China falls far behind in all those aspects when compared to America’s space agency. In the year 2024, NASA is planning to set its astronauts to the surface of the moon. We have seen how many rockets that China wanted to land failed miserably due to technical insufficiency. But the Chinese space agency and scientist are still optimistic about constructing and design a blueprint of the rocket between 2021 to 2025. Stay tuned with us, for more updates.
