The second last match of Quarterfinal stage of Copa America 2016 is between the Argentina and the Venezuela on June 18 at the Gillete Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Argentina has won all their three matches of the group stages and thus qualified fro the Quarters easily. This team has won their first match against Chile by 2-1 without the services of their star player Lionell Messi and proved everyone that they do not depend heavily on Messi.
Meanwhile, after the Messi’s return this team has easily thrased their opponents as they won against Panama by 5-0 and against Bolivia by 3-0. The major issue for Argentina is the injury of Messi and he is still doubtfull for this match against Venezuela.
On the other side, Venezuela has been undefeated in this tournament so far and started their tournament with a bang as they managed to win against Jamaica by 1-0 and against Uruguay by 1-0 and then managed to draw against one of the tournament favourite team Mexico by 1-1.
This team is one of the weakest team in this tournament but has now proven that they can play a competetive football in this tournament.
