Thus, Juventus’s player Cristiano Ronaldo achieved the Player of the Year and along with this, Goal of the Season awards for the 2019 and 2020 season. He achieved the most votes from Italian Footballers Association.
While the player Cristiano Ronaldo also won the title of Goal of the Season award for his astonishing playing and scoring against the U.S Sampdoria team in December 2019. During the speaking with Sports Italia, Cristiano Ronaldo said,” It was a difficult year, a year that no one wanted this, but on my personal level and as well on a team level, It was all positive for our team because we won the championship”. Later, he added,” At the starting, it was too hard to play in the empty stadium, but our aim was all about to win this championship and our team did it well. We are missing the championship league but that was how the football is”.
Juventus tweeted a post for Cristiano on his Twitter page,” Congratulation for Cristiano Ronaldo on being a name for Male Player of the Year and Goal of the Season awards”. Cristiano said at the Goal of the Season Awards ceremony,” It was one of my best goals and I am very sure of it”. Later he added,” I want to thanks my teammates because, without all of them, I couldn’t achieve this prize for me. I am feeling motivated and this must be the case otherwise it is not possible for anyone to play at this level at least when you are 35, 36,37, and 40″.
Along with this, Italian Football Manager and former player, Gian Piero Gasperini, currently, who is the manager of Italian side Atalanta won the title of the Coach of the year. It was stated by the Juventus official website that not only that one but there are also so many Juventus in the Men’s and as well as in Women’s top 11. Along with this, Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala, and Leonardo Bonucci have appeared in the best XI in the last year’s championship”.
