CSIR UGC NET December Results 2018 declared check Cut off marks at csirhrdg.res.in

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), yesterday, on 4th April 2019, has announced the result of CSIR UGC NET 2018 for the December session .The candidates who have applied for the exam  which was held in December 2018 year, can check their result from the official website, csirhrdg.res.in.

CSIR UGC NET 2018 results for December session announced

The declaration of the result is in the form of ranks and roll numbers of the aspirants who qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and determining the eligibility for Lectureship (NET).

According to CSIR UGC NET Result 2018 for December session, an approximate number of 1,990 candidates have qualified for JRF (NET) CSIR, while on the other hand, approx. 1,500 candidates qualified for JRF (NET) UGC.

Meanwhile the authorities have released two merit lists individually for JRF NET and NET. The candidates who are qualified for JRF NET are also being eligible for Lectureship-NET.

CSIR UGC NET Exam 2018: Cut-Off

After the declaration of the result, CSIR UGC NET cut-off will be announced. There will be two forms of cut-off which will be released by the officials according to category wise and subject wise for Junior Research Fellowship (NET) and Lectureship (NET).

The candidates who will score more than or equal to the cut-off rank will be qualified for Joint CSIR UGC Test for J.R.F and Eligibility for Lectureship (NET). Talking about last year cut-offs, for both fellowship and lectureship the minimum qualifying marks for General & OBC category was 33 % whereas for the SC/ST and PwD categories, the qualifying percentage was 25 %.

CSIR UGC NET Exam 2018: Last Year Details

The CSIR UGC NET exam was held on December 2018, which was of 200 marks and was held in offline mode for the subjects such as Life Sciences, Atmospheric, Earth, Mathematical Sciences, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Physical Sciences and Chemical Sciences.

Talking about last year result, around 3973 candidates have qualified the JRF (NET) CSIR, out of which only 87 candidates have qualified JRF, while on the other hand 1500 aspirants have cleared JRF (NET) UGC and 4409 aspirants have cleared Lectureship (NET).

Candidates can easily check or download result PDF file of their CSIR UGC NET result by just visiting the official website where a new window will open and you will have to submit your credentials such as roll number date of birth and captcha code for the login purpose. Candidates can also take out the printout of the result for further use. There will be no separate intimation letter to be sent to the aspirants.

CSIR UGC NET Exam 2018: Important Dates

  • Notification for CSIR UGC NET 2018 (December session): 19th September 2018
  • Date of Commencing of Online Application: 25th September 2018
  • Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 15th October 2018 (Previous) extended to 17th October 2018
  • Issue of Admit Card: 1st week of December 2018
  • Date of CSIR UGC NET 2018 Exam (December session): 16th December 2018 (Sunday)
  • Final Result of this Single MCQ Test: To be announced

The fellowship will be operative from 1st January 2019 onwards with a validity of 2 years for linking with the fellowship under CSIR. The income for the first two years of a JRF who is selected through CSIR UGC NET will be Rs.25, 000 per month. Additionally, Rs.20, 000 per companion will be delivered to the University annually.
