With this offer, the Disney Plus streaming service is surely going to give a great competition to other leading video streaming services such as Netflix, HBO Now and many more.
Disney+ is basically a streaming service like other existing services at present. It will be paid subscriptions without any advertising, along with this it will also give customers access to a vast collection of Disney’s as well as Fox’s legacy content with new, exclusive TV shows, movies along with great documentaries.
In the meantime, the major competitor of Disney+ seems to be Netflix, which recently raised its prices prior this year along with placing stricter restrictions on simultaneous streams. At the present, Netflix for a standard definition plan costs $9 a month with only one available stream.
On the other hand, if you want HD streaming, then it will cost you $13 a month, and will give you two simultaneous streams. For 4K and four simultaneous streams, it will cost you $16 a month and will give you four simultaneous streams.

Where most of the tech giants spending money into their own TV shows as well as movies in order to lure the consumers away from traditional pay TV, Disney on the other hand is aiming to make a single streaming hub for all of its family-friendly content.
Disney Plus is going to comprise of all of Disney’s family-friendly as well as much of its mass-audience fare. It will comprise of content from Disney proper, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar as well as National Geographic. Apart from the traditional categories, it is also going to offer all 30 seasons of The Simpsons, a new feather in its cap from the Fox takeover.
