On Friday, the US President Donald Trump threatened to entirely close the southern US border with Mexico if the policymakers or officials decline his demands to give the money to finish the wall.
Donald Trump on Friday tweeted in his twitter account that he will be involuntary to close the Southern border completely if he will not get the fund for completing the wall. He tweeted, “We will be forced to close the Southern Border entirely if the Obstructionist Democrats do not give us the money to finish the Wall & also change the ridiculous immigration laws that our Country is saddled with. Hard to believe there was a Congress & President who would approve!”
He further added his tweet by saying that US has lost so much money on trade with Mexico which crosses around 75 billion dollars per year. He tweeted, “The United States looses soooo much money on Trade with Mexico under NAFTA, over 75 Billion Dollars a year (not including Drug Money which would be many times that amount), that I would consider closing the Southern Border a “profit making operation.” We build a Wall or close the Southern Border. Bring our car industry back into the United States where it belongs. Go back to pre-NAFTA, before so many of our companies and jobs were so foolishly sent to Mexico. Either we build (finish) the Wall or we close the Border…..”
The Pro-republic frontrunner’s threatening came as a unfinished federal government closure was agreed to drag on into next week, with representatives and lawmakers in Washington deteriorating to reach a negotiation over Trump’s persistence on financing the border barricade.
Both the borders have excavated in, with Republicans declining to make available $5 billion for the assignment and the president who has made hard-hitting migration polices a flagship of his presidency, promising that he will not completely fund the government except he acquires the money.
Whereas, in November also Donald Trump threatened to close the entire border with Mexico and said that he will do so if “it gets to a level where we’re going to lose control or people are going to start getting hurt”.
Days after his threatening, the US establishments intensely closed a border crossing in southern California after hundreds of migrants which were a part of the “caravan” Trump had severely condemned, tried to break a boundary as of the Mexican city of Tijuana.
The short term closing saw border agents stopping any means of transportation as well as walkers at the San Ysidro crossing place, one of the hectic and full of activity place amongst the neighboring nations.
