The America has elected their new President in the form of the Donald Trump on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. The 70-year-old former businessman has now been the 45th President of the America, and to be true; it does surprise the whole world. The people from every corner of the world reacts to it, but we are were eagerly waiting for the reaction of the leaders of the different countries to the election of Donald Trump as next United States President.
Well, we are here with the world reaction to the election of the Donald Trump as the 45th president of the America.
1. Germany
Ursula von der Leyen, the Defense Minister of Germany, said ” “I think Trump knows that this was not a vote for him but rather against Washington, against the establishment.”
She even claimed the result of the election as a “huge shock.”
2. Cuba
Esteban Morales, Communist Party member and noted economist and political scientist of Cuba informed media wing that ” they must be worried because I think this represents a new chapter.”
3. South Korea
Yun Byung-Se, the Prime Minister of the South Korea, said that ” “Candidate Trump has expressed his clear position by saying after North Korea’s nuclear test that such provocation by the North is a direct threat to the United States.”
Well according to the Sout Korean Prime Minister, the newly elected president will continue to put North Korea under pressure for its nuclear and missile tests.
4. Marine Le Pen
Marine Le Pen, French far-right leader, said ” Congratulations to the new president of the United States Donald Trump and to the free American people.”
Marine Le Pen took the Twitter to congratulate the 45th President of the America by Tweeting the wishes on Tweeter.
5. China
China showed their intent of working with the newly elected president to continue to form the steady relationship between the two countries. Lu Kang, Foreign Ministry spokesman in a recent interview, said that ” Republican Donald Trump moved to the brink of winning the White House.”
6. Indonesia
The country asked the people of the America why they elected Donald Trump as their new President. Such comments from the country with world’s most populous Muslim country perceive as intolerant and reactionary.
The primary concern for the people of the Indonesia is that whether they will be able to meet to meet their relatives in the America under the Donald Trump’s presidency.
They alos fear that Trump will prevent them to visit the America even as the tourist. Meanhwile around 100,000 Indonesians live in the United States. However, President Joko “Jokowi” said that he will look to work with the Donald Trump to keep a healthy realtionship between two countries.
