On Wednesday, a man called up Delhi Police Control Room threatening to kill the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
But, it later turned out to be a hoax call, the police identified the caller and said he was a drunkard and mentally unsound.
A senior police officer said that a call was received around 6:16 pm at the police control room today but it was later found to be hoax. But, the caller was identified as Ravinder Kumar Tiwari, a resident of Khajuri Khas, north east Delhi. When local police reached his home, neighbours told them that he is a drunkard and mentally unsound. He has not been found yet.
The Police officer further said that Tiwari said that he will shoot Kejriwal but when asked about his identity, he only said that I will reveal my identity only if I am shot dead.
As per the sources said that the Chief Minister’s Office was informed about the call as a precautionary measure.
