England ODI Squad Announced For ODI Series Against Pakistan

The England Cricket team must be disappointed after finishing the Test series in a draw. They must feel disappointed as their bowlers failed to handle the Pakistani batsman.

But now the action shifts to the limited over the Cricket and the Three Lions will look to win the ODI series under the captaincy of Eoin Morgan.

England has improved a lot, especially in the ODI cricket, their record speaks for themselves. The credit to must go to the England thinks tank that they rope match winners in the limited over credit.

MEnahwile, England has announced their ODI squad on August 16 and the biggest highlight is the inclusion of the Ben Stokes, who missed the test series against Pakistan due to a calf injury.

The selector James Whitaker told the media wing “that Stokes is showing a lot of promise and is recovering from his injury and it looks like he will make him present for the first ODI match.”

He further added that ” we have also added Mark Wood who suffered ankle injury last year and was in rehabilitation progress, but now he is completely recovered and he will add more fire to the squad.”

Also, Mark Wood is named in the 15 member squad to face  Pakistan ODI team. Wood played last ODI game in September 2015.

Meanwhile, Joss Buttler and Eoin Morgan are also included in the squad after suffering thumb injury in domestic t20 match of Natwest t20 Blast.

The national selected also gave Liam Dawson his maiden England call-up as this left arm spinner has shown sign of some serious form in Natwest t20 Blast.

Well, England has now translated and it requires a lot to beat this new England side.
