After a long wait, the much-anticipated K-Drama ‘Youth Of May’ has been finally released on May 3, 2021 and the viewers are liking the show for its amazing cast members and great storyline. This Periodical Melodrama series has been written by Lee Kang and created by Moon Jun Ha KBS Drama Production. The series is made under the directional work of Song Min-yeob, starring Keum Sae-rok, Go Min-si, Lee Do-hyun, and Lee Sang-yi in the lead roles. So far, the series is doing well as it has grabbed the attrition of many viewers.
Youth Of May Episode 1 Preview
Hee-Tae is a medical student, who has entered a medical school as a top medical student. He seems to be like a calm and relaxed person, but in reality he also has a rigid spirit and stubbornness. On the other side, Myung-Hee has working as a nurse and is a charming person. She has been now doing this work from past three years and stands up against the wrong. The Pro-democracy sentiments is running high all over the college campuses, but Hee Tae is not at all interested in such things and is focusing on finding sufficient money for taking a patient back home. Later he was seen returning to his hometown located in Gwangju.
In the second part of the first episode, we saw Myeong Hee has finds out that she is accepted to go abroad for further studies. Meanwhile, she doesn’t have enough money so she is looking for various sources through which she can earn and collect airfare in a month so that she can finally go to abroad for studies. However, she is struggling to earn the fare amount and then Soo Ryeon has suggested her something that can benefit both of them. In the meantime, Hee Tae also finally finds a way for getting the money for transferring a patient that he wanted to take back home from Seoul to Gwangju.

The series is about medical student Hee-Tae (Lee Do-Hyun) and a nurse Myung-Hee (Go Min-Si) falling in love in the raging times of the Gwangju Uprising in May 1980 which seems like they were destined to be together from the beginning. The ‘Youth Of May’ air on KBS2 in two parts on every Monday and Tuesday. The series includes total number of 12 episodes, out of which two episodes are already aired on May 3 and May 4 respectively. The viewers in South Korea can easily access to its upcoming episodes which are scheduled air on KBS2 at 21:30 (KST) every Monday and Tuesday.
