News is going round that Nokia will be back soon and this time with the Android Operating system. Executives of the Finnish company Nokia are planning to bring handsets based on Android OS. A seven year old veteran and Pekka Rantala who is the ex-Rovio CEO  will be assuming the position of Chief Marketing Officer at HMD Global Oy which is a finnish company and is planning to reboot the Nokia brand for smart phones. Let us remind you that HMD is the same company which amalgamated with Nokia to recreate the magic for Nokia phones in the market.

HMD has collaborated along with Foxconn Technology’s FIH Mobile subsidiary to deliver new Nokia smart phones that will be running on android OS. Till now this much information we have regarding the new revamped Nokia smart phones. Company is yet to spill the beans related to the information regarding any timetable or specific smart phones related information.

With what information we have now, we can assume that soon we can see the Nokia smartphones running on Android Platform. It is not like we didn’t have enjoyed Nokia X or Nokia XL but obviously it failed to create the magic that we have experienced with the old Nokia phones.

As a Nokia fan we would all like to see the company doing a comeback and coming up with a handset that can take on with already established brands like Xiaomi, Lenovo, Samsung etc. Whatever the case is we have to wait till the time when we have some concrete details regarding how the handset is going to be and what all features if will offer or at what price it will be made available. We will keep our readers updated if in case we have any further information on this topic, till then stay tuned with us.
