A Doctor and a ward boy was arrested by the Gujarat police for allegedly raping a dengue patient in the ICU room of Apollo hospital in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat last month.
As per the reports that the rape victim had lodged a complaint alleging that the two men from the hospital had drugged and raped her twice when she was admitted to the hospital on 22nd August with high fever.
The Gujarat police have registered her complaint under section 376(rape) of Indian Penal Code. The accused name in the FIR is as Dr Chauhan and Chandrakant who is a ward boy.
Afte the complaint, the woman was sent for a medial examination to confirm her claims and the test revealed that she was raped.
Doctors have provided CCTV footage of the incident from the hospital to help the police in their investigation and a probe in this rape case is underway.
