GATE 2019 Examination Result Check Cutoff, AIR Download at gate.iitm.ac.in

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras has recently announced the result for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2019. The result has been released on the official website at at gate.ittm.ac.in.

GATE 2019 Result Check Marks, Cutoff, Scorecard, AIR at GOAPS

The exam was held on 2, 3, 9 and 10 February 2019 and for which the first answer key was announced on February 19. Earlier the final result for GATE 2019 was expected to be announced on March 16 and the authorities released the result as on expected date.

A couple of days ago the final answer key of GATE 2019 was announced.

The official notice reads, “The official GATE 2019 Score Card can be downloaded from the GOAPS site between March 20, 2019 and May 31, 2019 by the qualified candidates only”

GATE score is recognized and accepted by various engineering colleges all over India and those colleges are Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, Assam, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, Indian Institute of Technology, (BHU) Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, Gujrat, Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, Indian Institute of Technology Patna and Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Dr Susheel Joshi, SVP (Academic) at Gradeup said, “The overall cut-off for most of the branches has increased as compared to 2018. For Electrical branch the cut-off has drastically increased from 29.1 in 2018 to 39.6 in 2019. For Computer Science, the cut-off was consistently 25 for the last few years, however has increased to 29.5 this year. While the cut-off for Mechanical has slightly declined from 34.7 in 2018 to 34.1 in 2019”.

Step 1: Firstly, you have to visit the official website at gate.iitm.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads ‘gate 2019 result’

Step 3: You will be directed to next page where your registration number and password will be asked in order to login.

Step 4: Log-in using your registration number and password correctly.

Step 5: Your Result will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Check or Download the result and candidates can also take its print out for further reference.
