When Kapil announced the last date on Twitter, there were rumours of Kapil moving his show to Sony TV or Star Plus, as he was in talks with these channels. According to the latest reports, Kapil is working with Sony. Kapil’s show will be called Comedy Style.
Kapil Sharma emerged as the biggest entertainter of the Indian television with his quick wit and spontaneity on the show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ when it first aired in 2013.
Rumours of Kapil taking the show on another channel started since the day he decided to part ways with the previous one. The actor even shared a picture hinting about their return on social media and captioned it as, “I want to wear make up soon. See you soon. Before monsoon.”

However, a source close to Kapil denies the buzz. Said the source, “Right now we have no plans as such. We are in conversation with both networks Star and Sony and we are contemplating which one would be better for the comedy space. We are in no hurry. We will know only by mid-March.”
